Biography

Tara first fell in love with performing on the stage, where she feels excitement and freedom from the sense of sharing and connection with the other performers, and also with the audience. Highlights of her Film and TV  credits include: the upcoming Netflix show “Firefly Lane”, Once Upon a Time, Cedar Cove, The Butterfly Effect, Girlfriends Guide To Divorce, Supernatural, Smallville, Motive, V, Lost Girl, Almost Human, The L Word, Cold Squad, The Goodbye Girl, Dr. Doolittle 3, Whisper, Everything’s Gone Green, Once Upon A Mattress, TinMan, Catwoman,Centre Stage: Turn it Up,  Centre Stage on Pointe, and Hallmark TV Movies “A Christmas Miracle”, “Morning Show Mysteries – A Countdown to Murder”, “The Wedding March 2 – Resorting to Love”  “Once Upon a Holiday”, and “Lucky In Love”. A triple threat, as they say, some stage highlights have included acting, dancing and singing in shows such as: TINA: A Rock n’ Roll Journey,The Reinvention of Disco, The Dancing Doll Decides, Snakebit, Missing Marrisa, and her ongoing performance as a member of the trio singing group The Agency, singing old classics from the 1920’s – 40’s (www.theagencygirls.com).  In recent years, she performed onstage in the sitcom style play, Slacks, in Vancouver, BC. As a performer, Tara has an interest in body movement and health, which has lead her to furthering her knowledge and abilities by obtaining her Bachelors degree at UBC in Kinesiology and certifications as a Exercise Physiologist, Fascial Stretch Therapist and a Pilates Instructor.
